from the 'release date' mentioned in the link I posted above, ateasers have jumped to the conclusion that there will be an EP called 'the wall of ice EP' released on Monday the 17th August. How much of this will happen is anyone's guess. Until the vocals kick in it sounds like two minutes of trying out different guitar lines. I take it you have never heard Tago Mago? It's hypnotic. It has no clearly defined shape, which is something unusual for radiohead, but I like it very much.

This would be interesting. It has been suggested also that the band chose to leak the These Are My Twisted Words demo onto what.cd, the oh so illegal filesharing network. How strong the foundations are for the speculation I have no idea though.
If it's real, it's EXCITING. Really very exciting.

this mp3 and the mp3 of in rainbows released on october 10 of 2007 were encoded with the same version of LAME, the 3.93, whereas the last stable version is the 3.98.2
the id3 tag of the mp3 shows "GB-STK-09-00111" in the ISRC field. the mp3s of in rainbows had the same ISRC tag with value "GB-STK-07-000##".
so basically, it is very likely that it has been released by radiohead, and not leaked by anyone else.

Thanks fogged. The mp3 forensics do add an intriguing spin to proceedings.

wallofice.com was registered yesterday by some dude in the Netherlands, there's no evidence whatsoever that it's legit.

If I was Radiohead, and there was no EP, I'd be feeling guilty right now for being so subversive in the past and giving fans these expectations.

Why leak a song and then properly release only that song a couple days later? What a tease.
